Carolina Panthers are in attendance for LSU Pro Day …
The Carolina Panthers took a few members of their staff to the ongoing LSU Pro Day in Baton Rouge Boys. Likely there targeting top running back prospect Leonard Fournette, the Panthers may also have eyes on a few other potential players Jackets & Coats. However, coach Ron Rivera and general manager Dave Gettleman were not in attendance as Fournette is expected to visit Charlotte next week.
Currently Carolina owns the No. 8 pick of the upcoming NFL Draft but Fournette’s availability when the Panthers are on the clock is in question. The star running back for the Tigers, Fournette dropped 12 pounds from his NFL Combine weight last month.

The members of the team present could be determining if a trade up is necessary in order to ensure Fournette becomes the newest Panther Handbags & Wallets. Armed with two second-round picks and a comp selection in the third-round, Gettleman may have the firepower necessary in order to move up the board.

Other candidates the Panthers will be keeping an eye on likely include safety, Jamal Adams, another top-10 prospect and wide receiver Malachi Dupre. While Dupre may not be the speed receiver Carolina covets, he does fit the profile of a big target with good hands who could develop nicely with consistent quarterback play.
Carolina attacked the safety position through free agency by adding veteran Mike Adams as Jamal Adams may not be available with the No. 8 pick. If he is on the board, it will be interesting to see in what direction Gettleman chooses to go depending on the availability of other prospects Shoes.
Obviously, the Panthers are there to see Fournette and determine if he is the answer at the running back position. Current back, Jonathan Stewart, will be entering the season at age 30 and has battled injuries throughout his career.
